This Eid-ul-Adha, MASTUL Foundation has taken a Qurbani initiative not only for the underprivileged in Bangladesh but also for the war-affected people of Gaza, Palestine, in an effort to bring smiles to their faces during this sacred time.
Mastul took this hard decision while there people suffer from hunger and Hamas not agree on the Israeli truces deal. Masul has already lost their two volunteers by the attack of Israeli settlers at Gaza when they were working for the relief activities in a refugee camp.
Every year, MASTUL Foundation distributes Qurbani meat among disadvantaged and impoverished families across different parts of the country.
This year, considering the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the extreme hardship faced by its people, the Foundation has decided to dedicate a portion of its Qurbani fund to support the residents of Gaza. The aid will reach Palestinian refugees residing in Egypt as well as those in camps inside Gaza, specifically in Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis.
The Founder and Executive Director of MASTUL Foundation Kazi Reaz Rahman, said,- “Qurbani is not just a religious ritual it represents the spirit of sacrifice and compassion. We have always stood by the underprivileged people of Bangladesh, and we will continue to do so. However, the current situation in Gaza has deeply moved us. Our Muslim brothers and sisters there are enduring unimaginable suffering. Through this Qurbani initiative, we hope to bring a moment of relief and joy to their lives and stand beside them during this difficult time.”
Mastul Foundation’s Shariah Board member Maulana Nurul Islam expressed,- Alhamdulillah! This is truly a commendable initiative. Through this effort, MASTUL Foundation is taking the generosity and empathy of the people of Bangladesh to the international level.
May Allah bless this noble effort. Ameen. Beyond emergency aid, MASTUL Foundation is also working on long-term projects in Gaza aimed at educating orphans, empowering widows, and rehabilitating those affected by the ongoing crisis.
Please keep us in your prayers so that we can continue to support our oppressed brothers and sisters,” the Foundation urges.
The organization calls upon the wealthy members of society to come forward wholeheartedly and contribute within their means to support the vulnerable. From this year onward, all donations made to MASTUL Foundation will be eligible for tax exemptions
